Reelin' and Rockin' are an acoustic band who play an eclectic mix of Folk, Blues, Country and Americana music to the delight of a range of audiences because it transports listeners away from the mundane, lifts the spirits and ensures everyone has a seriously good time.

Reelin' and Rockin' take you on a musical journey: from traditional Celtic folk and dance music inspired by the UK's unique landscapes and histories; then across the Atlantic to America - from the plantations of Louisiana to Austin Texas with Lead Belly, through the Mississippi blues Delta with John Hurt, Skip James & Big Bill Broonzy, up through Alabama with Hank Williams, on to Nashville Tennessee with Bob Dylan, down to Florida with Gram Parsons, then across to the deserts and sun-kissed beaches of California with Woodie Guthrie, Steve Stills & Neil Young; before returning home with some tunes by some of our own best bands like the Rolling Stones.

Originally formed in 2012 and based in North London, the core band is a 3-piece: Barbara was born in Switzerland but served her musical apprenticeship in Ireland then London playing traditional Irish folk music in pubs, and at festivals and céilidhs. Dave came from Devon but spent most of his playing career in north London playing in rhythm and blues bands i.e. The Press, Raw Deal for many years before joining with Trevor in a blues/r and b The Midnight Movers 2 in London. Trevor played in rock, blues and country bands first in his native Scotland, then London in pubs, clubs, and at festivals.
